This is a sweet friendship from youth group days. So much fun catching up and keeping Jesus at the center of it all.

This childhood friendship is something I will always cherish. I met her when she was in 1st grade and I was in 3rd grade or so.

Our last hangout was a few years back and we had to do a little juggling to make this one happen.

First restaurant we were going to meet at had a 1 hour and 45 minute wait.

Second restaurant was temporarily closed due to a power outage.

The third restaurant didn’t serve brunch.

And the fourth restaurant’s food was pretty bad, but they had good coffee. 🤣

We decided that the struggle to find a good brunch kept us from being distracted by lesser things so we could focus on good conversation and the Lord.

It just goes to show you that friendships built on the Lord are eternal.

My favorite part was the endless laughter and the time we took to reflect upon what God has done this year when we took a step of faith and obeyed how He led us!
